Before laying the tiles in any substrate need to make sure that all surfaces must be structurally sound and strong enough to support tiles as well as surface should be clean, dry, and free from all dust. Also, we need to assess the existing surface conditions and need to remove the loose parts of the surface and remove any other surface contamination such as oil, grease etc. All surfaces should be levelled and flat to achieve the best result. We need to clean the surfaces and dry the surfaces properly. Sometimes for old existing floor, we might need to do some grinding work to make good of the surfaces prior to physical condition on the site before laying the tiles.
